Just announced, Frank Sinatra, Jr. will perform with Bob Lappin and The Palm Beach Pops for a six-night engagement with "Sinatra Sings Sinatra" in South Florida on January 2-8, 2010. Premier vocalist and endearing storyteller Frank Sinatra Jr., pays homage - in song and in style - to his father's music in Sinatra Sings Sinatra. When The Palm Beach Pops and Frank Sinatra Jr. take the stage, fans will be treated to a one-of-a-kind tribute to Sinatra senior – a tribute no one else can deliver with the same authenticity and passion. The Palm Beach Pops audiences at the Kravis Center, Eissey Campus Theatre and the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium will enjoy a symphonic pops orchestra including original orchestrations by Nelson Riddle and Gordon Jenkins, and classic Sinatra standards such as "I've Got You Under My Skin," "One For My Baby," "Luck Be A Lady" and "Strangers In The Night."

Palm Beach County Students Share Stage with the Palm Beach Pops Orchestra

Over 4,500 Palm Beach County students will descend on Cruzan Amphitheatre on Thursday, May 21, 2009 for the Music & You concert performed by Bob Lappin and the Palm Beach Pops orchestra. These students are from twelve Palm Beach County elementary schools who just completed a four-week session of the In-School Youth Music Education Program, presented by The Palm Beach Pops, which concludes with a live orchestral performance of Bob Lappin & The Palm Beach Pops.

With the conclusion of one of their most critically acclaimed seasons, Bob Lappin and The Palm Beach Pops have lined up another sensational season for music lovers. For eighteen years, Bob Lappin and the Palm Beach Pops have been known for their signature concerts, themed around the beautiful music commonly known as the “Great American Songbook” and special guest artists. Since the orchestra’s inception, each concert series has been custom created by Maestro Lappin with programming centering around the unique placement of the rhythm section down in front of the orchestra and signature virtuosi piano pieces played by Lappin.
